Do you ever feel like you're on a balancing beam. One false move and it can all go to crap. Well that's how I'm feeling.
It's my last summer before I start college. I'm not sure how I feel about that. I'm not sure how I fell about my boyfriend. And my parents are dumping on every move I make.
That's why they're forcing me to go to Ian's island cottage. Ian is my dad's best friend. And my parents are convinced that he can help me get rid of at least one of my many flaws -- smoking. As if!
I'm going along with it because maybe it'll let me stay upright on that balancing beam for just a little longer.
But that whole balancing thing could get screwed up when I begin to realize that I have feelings for my dad's buddy. And the idea hits me -- maybe instead of going along, I should just take what I want.
I mean what could go wrong? Right?
