Principally it was written to school-leavers and practicing architects and to architecture students, and presents structure and way of thinking of AutoCAD Architecture 2013 program through a two-story house planning.
The user can gradually, stepwise practice confident use of AutoCAD Architecture 2013, and come to know further potential of the program, with a user-friendly, illustrated textbook at the end of a detailed glossary. Later it allows user to be able to draw much larger, more complex plans, as well. Although it specifically was based on Architecture 2013 version, it is worth to start the practice with earlier versions of AutoCAD because the book contains relatively few steps, could be performed by only Architecture in 2013!

Good idea, but poorly written
The idea behind this introductory work on AutoCAD is intelligent and appealing. But I certainly do not feel qualified to comment on Mr. Horvath's mastery of AutoCAD; the man is an engineer, so it's probably good, and his approach of the subjetc is innovative and interesting. But good or bad technically, this book does not yet deserve to be called a book. The author's poor writing skills simply disqualify him as an author, technical or otherwise. His book is in dire need of a minimally competent editor. Many sentences appear incomplete, the English language suffers though tortuous syntax and grammar contortions and the reader is often left to guess what the author is trying to say. As it presently stands, this book should not appear in any bookstore, and it certainly is not worthy of Apple's iBooks catalog, from which we expect a minimum level of quality, even for self-published books. This book must be drastically revised before being offered for sale again.
