Just finished the third book in the series. In the beginning I was unsure about the (first) novel but as it evolved and characters developed it got increasingly more interesting and entertaining. The second novel saw the characters and their backstory bring them to life. Their interactions with each other and their families brought a lot of context and anticipation to what was to come. The third novel brought some of the backstory together and started to resolve some of the issues the odd pack are dealing with. I found myself sinking deeper into the story as I read. It took only four hours to finish the last book, minus a time out to replenish snacks. Looking forward to the next steps in the evolution of angel and demon kind as this group of ‘misfit’ friends work together.
