My Name Is Bella

Bella, as an infant pup finds herself hungry and homeless, living underneath a house, drinking from a leaky water pipe. She has no clue of where she has been or how she got there. Once she is discovered, she and her rescuers search to find her a forever home. Along the way she meets the "dogs they used to call "strays" who now "lie in big puffy beds" and a host of other formerly homeless animals, who tell her their stories. All the animals have a common agenda....to find a loving, forever home. My Name is Bella is an Early Chapter book for ages 6-9. The book offers a light approach to pounds, humane shelters, puppy mills and neglectful situations.
