Great!
This book was a wonderful reminder on why I love Jo Goodman’s books. It was funny, sexy, emotional and had just a touch of mystery. Goodman is fantastic at showing you the characters greatest fears and flaws without explicitly talking about them. This makes the characters dynamic and loveable.
Colin and Mercedes relationship is the right amount of fanciful and realistic. They love and understand each other - flaws and all and the way that they push and pull throughout the story is beautiful. Colin’s deep understanding of how Mercedes mind works and why is heartening.
Overall I really enjoyed this one and am excited to read the next book in this trilogy.
