My Story

Sherry Lynn Cook was a young bride in the late seventies. She and her husband of less than two years had just purchased their first home and were preparing to start a family. But little did she know that when she became pregnant a short time later, many challenges would line the path ahead.

In an inspirational memoir, Cook begins by chronicling her near-death experience during the delivery of her son that not only taught her that heaven was nearer than she believed, but also that she was never truly alone. While recounting several spiritual encounters throughout her journey through life, Cook reveals the all-important line between good and evil, shares lessons learned, and encourages other believers to face their fears, shun regrets, live with their mistakes, embrace their inner-strength, and accept God’s unconditional love through all the trials, tribulations, and joys that accompany a life well lived.
