My Totally True Adventures with the BettyBot6000

Derrick Leather is not being very nice. He’s having an affair with the extraordinarily sexy neighbor, pretending to be friends with the husband, and preparing to leave the mother of his two boys. He looks forward to the time when Laura can leave her moody and controlling husband Greg, and the two of them can live together in domestic bliss. He’s always been handy with the tools, alternative uses included.
Once a serious Buddhist student, Derrick’s primary concern now is the woman he’s sure is the love of his life. She’s changed him. He knows his family will be hurt, but this is the kind of love he can’t turn away from. He can’t understand why, once she bought her new house, Laura inexplicably withdraws. At times she even seems to shut down all emotion. When she cuts off all contact for months on end, Derrick gets desperate. When Derrick gets desperate, things get very interesting. Perhaps no one is as they appear…not Laura’s husband Greg, not even his good friend and former Buddhist monk, Doug “Hoogie” Hoogenstein, and definitely not Laura.
This is no ordinary romp with a sexbot, though it is that too. It’s “Revolutionary Road” mashed up with “Kill Bill,” along with abundant nods to Hollywood icons. Just keep in mind, this romp never pans to the fireplace or fades to black.
