Another Excellent Title by Rachel Gold!
The treatment of bipolar and neglect by parents in the narrative seem timely in an uncanny way that Rachel has already done twice. Her thoughtfully written characters have successfully given us many heroines that one doesn't often find in mainstream fiction, and that is a welcome relief. With Rachel's work, now including My Year Zero, one doesn't have to feel alone standing at the edge of emptiness and instead offers a stairway to a higher order.
