A look at the life and times of one family trying to find spiritual direction, family happiness and a sense of place in a world with little spirituality or happiness to offer.

This is a story of four boys growing up during the turbulent sixties and seventies, living according to the precepts of their faith, while being drawn to a world of self- interests and self-awareness. It is a look at the influences affecting their behavior and their responses to them.

This is a novel, based on life; the names of some characters have been changed to protect reputations and dignity. Some of the terms and language expressed is colorful and representative of the period, though it may be politically incorrect by todays standards.
