Bonds to Twenty Super Kids

This simple book is to help your child develop their awareness, confidence and understanding of bonds to ten. Number bonds are pairs of numbers that can be added together to make another number e.g. 19 + 1 = 20. They are some of the most basic and essential parts of maths for children to learn. These are the foundations of many other key number bonds – if children can fluently recall their number bonds to 20, they will be able to calculate number bonds to 20 and other multiples of 10. Take turns being the teacher and ask how many. Encourage your child to look at what they notice about the pairs and to recall the number pairs.
