1 In this case, we are asked to review an order of the trial court which held that the court lacked jurisdiction over the parties and the subject matter, based upon the defendants position that the defendants were immune from suit because the negligent acts alleged against them were performed by them in their capacities as officers and agents of the State while performing governmental functions.
