Photos and comments about my trip to Nepal,One may describe Nepal in their own terms but all de nitions sum up to one word “Beautiful”. Your experience in this “Heaven on Earth” will get you constant switch of feelings from enjoyable, rejuvenating and peaceful to exciting and sensational. For a relatively small country, Nepal has a diverse landscape, the best being the Himalayan Mountains.

Contradicting its status of once being an o cial Hindu country, Nepal strongly holds to its Tibetan Buddhist in uence.

Frankly speaking, Nepal is a poor country, but it is rich in scenic grandeur and cultural treasures. One could go on and on admiring Nepal and its beauty but you can never understand the thrill and fun Nepal could o er until you pack your bags and head straight down to Nepal. It's the kind of country that lingers in your dreams long after you leave it.

Nepal has always been a special place for various people in various ways. For some it is the country of brave Gurkhas, for some it is the birth place of Lord Buddha, the light of Asia, for some it is the place to touch the highest peaks in the world, for some it is the place to experiment with various spiritual practices, for some it is the country of temples, art and culture. In whatever way people love Nepal, it is one of the most exciting destinations for all who love traveling. One of the most appropriate statements to describe Nepal may be: “Nepal is poor only in terms of economy.” It is probably the richest country in terms of its natural beauty, bio-diversity, cultures and traditions, art and architectures. Above all, the honest and ever welcoming people are well known in the world. A long time Kathmandu resident and the author of ‘Renaissance man’, Desmond Doig has rightly remarked about the cultures of Nepal-“Rich enough to consume several lifetimes.” A single life is just not enough to taste the beauty and to understand the cultures of Nepal.
