Never Give Up shadows a teenage girl through her high school journey. For some, the high school years are happy, formative times to look back on fondly. Not so for Jess. It begins innocently enough—girl meets boy—but what follows, she couldn’t have seen coming.

The next four years will be the toughest, most painful time of Jess’s life as she tries to make her way out of an abusive relationship. Let down by the adults in her high school and even by the police, Jess feels like she's got nowhere to turn.

I mean not every day is rainbows and butterflies.

The inability to escape the abuse leads to mental health complications and forces Jess make choices that will forever change the course of her relationships with her family and the people she cares about, but there is one thing she never does—Jess Never Gives Up.

Sure, I have Anxiety and Depression, but that doesn’t define who I am.

Never Give Up is an outstretched hand to those feeling alone and without hope. It shows that there are better days ahead if they Never Give Up. It pulls back the curtain on bullying and can shine a light on what can sometimes go on behind the scenes in schools.
