The New agrarian kitchen takes a historical look at the food knowledge and wisdom of our pre-industrial (no electricity) small family farms. This was a time when food production and food preparation was the dominant focus of the vast majority of people. This knowledge and wisdom has been lost to most of us as we have turned from being farmers to shoppers. We have turned over responsibility of our nutrition to the producers of industrial food. This introduction explores this agrarian way of providing nutrition and brings it forward, blending it with modern techniques and technologies, blending the best of both worlds.
