Publisher Description
Plaintiffs in this consolidated appeal are 116 women who filed products liability actions against defendant G.D. Searle & Company ("Searle") in the District of Maryland from 1987-1991 alleging that they were injured by the Cu-7 intrauterine device manufactured by Searle. The district court granted Searles motion to dismiss these actions for lack of personal jurisdiction and denied plaintiffs motion to amend its dismissal in order to transfer their cases to the Northern District of Illinois. Plaintiffs appeal both of these orders. Because we find no error in either order, we affirm.
