“Night and day” seemed like a classical English novel: this novel included a love triangle, full of humor and allegory, extensive dialogs and detailed descriptions of nature and mode of life. But in this novel the traditional form was filled with new content – relationship of the main heroes to love and marriage. Katherine and Ralph were the dreamers, their attempts to become intimate were burdened with painful reflections, doubts about the nature of their feelings.
