Lone British fisherman, Dr Andy Orme, describes with text and vivid photographs, his quest to catch a giant Nile perch from Africa’s immense Lake Victoria. Andy flew from England to Mombasa in Kenya, hired a small jeep and drove through hazardous terrain. He battled with huge perch and survived dangerous encounters with lions, hippos, crocodiles and marauding mosquitoes before making it back to the coast. Some advice on travel to Kenya is included.
