No More Tomorrows follows the fortunes of the McNair family in the years following the First World War. Sir Bruce McNair, the 11th Earl of Glencree, Chief of the Clan McNair, rules with a kindly hand over the vast Glencree estate. His overriding concern is that his son, Craig, will marry well and produce a son of his own to continue the family line. However, Craig falls in love with the beautiful daughter of Sir Bruce's ferryman. The McNair family is riven by the conflicting wills of these two strong, obstinate men, and the resulting upheaval threatens to bring disaster to Glencree.
