No one would listen

I watched the documentary (chasing Bernie Madoff)which made me purchase this book. It is hard to believe that a fraud like this can occur and for such a long time. Also that the red flags were so obvious in 1999 and that this ponzi scheme lasted another 9 years. This book explains the incompetence of the SEC and the corruption of BM. It also is assuring that there are people like the author that care about the financial industry to pursue this the way they did. The best part of this book is when the SEC gets lambasted by congress.
