No Respite

Unless, you've been there, it's hard to imagine a life shuttling from one home to another, never being able to really settle in, never knowing what will happen there, or next. Never knowing if you are walking in to some new danger. Never knowing any respite from the anxiety, and fear, it all brings. This was my life as a Foster Child. It felt like I had no one to tell, then. But I am speaking up now, to share my story, and give you a real look behind the doors of the Foster Care System.
