Alan Brandon is not yet 23 years old, but he has more blood on his hands than a fumble-fisted surgeon. Forced into the mob at 18 years old, he expertly wields the tools of his trade, not scalpels, but pistols and axes. The key man in a South Florida strong-arm mob, he knows all too well the fate of people in his line of work. And he wants out.

But the only way out of the mob is to get yourself dead, so of course that’s what he has to do. But getting dead is a lot easier than staying dead. If he thought he had bloody hands before, at least it was other people’s blood. Now it’s his own.
