Not Only When the Rain Falls is a collection of personal essays regarding, as the subtitle indicates, the author’s seven decades of ‘Adventures in Awakening’… awakening to an expanded understanding and application of the basic principles of uncompromising, boundless love and compassion.  Beyond religion, beyond spiritual or philosophical belief systems, one tenet resonates the most - the respect and honor of all beings.  Those who have shared her life - be it a pet, a grandparent, or angelic presences - have offered the author profound opportunities to be a better human being and to lend a hand up to those in need of assistance, or just a caring ear.  These are experiences that others may find useful for their own journeys.  Most of all, her adventures are offered with humility and love.
