Not Through Loving You

In Lafayette Falls, summer means emerald hillsides, warm evenings, and plenty of fireworks when a lonely doctor chooses to adopt an unwanted baby, only to have his plans derailed when the baby's idealistic aunt shows up.

 Singer-songwriter Lia Montgomery is shocked to learn of her estranged sister's death and the newborn boy left behind. Filled with guilt, Lia must make sure the baby has a good home with wonderful parents.

Instead of a loving couple giving her nephew a two-parent home, Lia finds a tempting, divorced doctor with no plans to remarry. And he's in the process of adopting the premature infant!

After a painful divorce, Dr. Aaron Kendall gave up on love. He didn't plan to become a single father until he unexpectedly bonded with an unwanted preemie.

Devoted to the baby, he is certain they are "meant to be" father and son.

Then Lia's surprising arrival complicates Aaron's life, especially when the songwriter makes his heart skip a beat. But he definitely doesn't fit her ideal of the "perfect family."

However, Lia can't provide the perfect family for the baby either, not with a looming crisis in both her private and professional life. For now, she has to focus on the baby in the NICU and the unwavering doctor who names the baby John Aaron.
