An offbeat comedy unfolding over a single turbulent afternoon, this one-act play follows Ricky, an aimless romantic with a flair for theatrics, who dons a trench coat and fedora to become the self-proclaimed "V.I.P.I." (Very Important Private Investigator). Though no one else seems to be along for the ride, when his roommate Tracy presents him with an offer he can't refuse, he takes it upon himself to solve the mystery of the missing keys—no matter how many numbskulls or femme fatales stand in his way.
