Not quite for me
This is not a book I would normally pick to read, I was mostly intrigued by the inter office dynamics, which I must admit, it’s an interest of mine. However, throughout much of the story I felt quite disengaged, but that’s not the author’s fault, as I mentioned earlier, it’s just not my kind of story.
Completely compulsive read
I read this book in great gulps. I just needed to know what was going on, would they or wouldn’t they. Would he or wouldn’t he. It was a great story. At first the lack of a deep interior life bothered me but then it caught me up in the moment. I found myself wondering what the heck was wrong with a lot of these characters and then I remembered these are work colleagues and Sandra caught that bleak reality perfectly.
