Delightful regency romance
I love regency romance books but I do find that it’s getting hard to find any that are very original as so many have been written. I do like this book and this series of “Unconventional Courtships”. This book in particular resonated with me as I have a disability, just as the heroine does. Her problem is a crippled leg and the subsequent social problems are more of a trouble for her than the physical pain. In a lovely twist, which Deb Marlowe is particularly good at, it is the hero’s problems with an over controlling father that cause way more problems for this couple. The characters are interesting, the plot twists are great, the descriptions of things add interest to the story without bogging it down, the pacing is well thought out and everything else is terrific. Can you tell that I liked this book? I did, a lot, and if you like regency romance you will probably enjoy it too.
