Nothing Ever Happens Here

In 2010, the manhunt for armed fugitive Raoul Moat gripped the UK. The gunman executed a man, shot his ex-girlfriend and attempted to murder PC David Rathband, shooting the officer in the face while he sat in his patrol car. Moat fled to the rural village of Rothbury, where he brought terror to an isolated Northumberland community.



'Nothing Ever Happens Here' provides a unique neighbourhood policing and community perspective of the incident from former Rothbury Neighbourhood Sergeant and author Graham Vickers, reflecting on how the police and the community came together to overcome evil in the face of adversity.
