Novel, Myth, and Cosmos‪:‬

An investigation of the literary, mythological and cosmological aspects of Beelzebub’s Tales to His Grandson, by G. I. Gurdjieff; along with a discourse on the nature of the cosmos entitled The Information of the Soul. The book re-examines the nature of Gurdjieff’s masterpiece and its place in contemporary literature, as well as placing the book in a range of historical literary contexts. It then examines Gurdjieff’s attempts to create a new mythology for today’s world, and the cosmological implications of his book.
