Nun Too Clever

We’ve all heard the tale of the lucky maiden who marries the prince. But not many stories tell us what happens later, after the lucky one has become queen. In this mystery, set in early medieval England, our heroine has been queen for 10 years. She is now a mother with 4 children. While the king wages war in far off lands, the queen stays at home to run the kingdom. She is the monarch, ruling court and country. When the king returns, she is expected to switch back into the compliant wife. Life is not what she expected.

A dead nun and a missing village girl complicate matters at the worst possible time--right before the king returns from the front.
