Young Tony, born in the mid-fi fties, was a victim of child abuse from the womb. His greatest love was his family. Coming to age during the turbulent era of the 60s made him question the double standards of living between Black and White people. Other kids his age didnt think like him, he loved reading. Peer pressure was boring. With the streets ablaze during
the 67 riot, and family violences tormenting him, Tony made a conscious decision to fi nd his mother to escape his father, who unknowing to him wasnt his father, and heal his wounded heart.
