Oh, I Love Animals‪!‬

The initial idea of Oh, I Love Animals was conceptualized by my lovely wife Kim and me during one of our many road trips to New Canaan Connecticut to visit “Nana” and “Bapa” several years ago. We were driving down the road just singing and making up silly rhymes not knowing at the time that we were in the process of planting the seeds for a children’s book. Our boys were laughing and singing along as though it was an age-old children’s song that they knew by heart.


As my boys continued to sing and spell day after day, I began crafting a deeper experience for them to see, hear, sing and learn from. The first version was created as a web experience and was an approachable, fun and interactive family learning exercise for our two sons Tyler and Brayden. Soon they began learning the basic foundations of music, story, rhyme, reading, spelling and art. 


Much to our surprise, the rhyme and song soon caught on with several of our young extended family members and friends, with whose encouragement ultimately led to making this pet project into an official children’s book and sing along.


I am hopeful that this story can, and will, be discovered, embraced and enjoyed by children everywhere, even though there is no reference to “what a fox says”... So much for timing!
