Publisher Description
Fire Chief John Brewer might be the hottest, nicest, most authoritative man that paramedic Ellen Foreman has ever met, but he's also totally off limits. He's her boss….and he's a monk. He's spent years raising his young daughter alone and he isn't interested in anything else. So why can't Ellen stop thinking about him?
Ellen is prepared to spend the rest of her life daydreaming about a man she can never have, but when disaster strikes, John realizes what he's been missing all these years.
Just when they both think happiness is within their grasp, Fate throws both their lives into turmoil all over again. When the dust settles, they might not even survive—much less find a way to live happily ever after in the life of their dreams.
Customer Reviews
Moderate
The story is written in present tense, which I find irritating to read. It sounds quite juvenile.
There are typos- not really enough to interrupt the flow, but a couple of them make it hard to understand what is being said.
The characters are okay, the plot is decent. Like I said, a moderate book.
