I’m hooked
This is the first book I have read from Patricia and I can’t wait to read another. Her ability to intertwine a compelling storyline with convincing and revealing characters makes for a fulfilling experience. The romance amidst controversy is complicated and yet touching with just the right dose of sizzle! I can’t read just one!
Emotional rollercoaster
What an emotional story! I really enjoyed the realism of all the pieces of the plot- ranging from young love and financial/health stressors to meddling family and layers of secrets. I needed tissues to make it through to the very satisfying HEA ending. Real people with real life challenges made this a great read for me.
