One Falsely Accused

As a lonely widow, Kathleen often visited her husbands
grave. But after meeting Richard and dating him for a short
time, Kathleen knew that once again she was in love. In
only a few months they decided to marry. When she met him she
had no idea he was a wealthy man but that didnt impress her. It
was his kindness she appreciated. Once they returned from their
nine-day honeymoon, Richard informed her that he had to take
one last trip for his job and hed return in two days. She waited for
his return but Richard never came back. Why?
