Excellent Story and Series
I received an ARC of this book to read from the publisher in exchange for a fair review. One For The Rogue is the fourth book in Manda Collins’s Study in Scandal Series. It’s a great series and I recommend reading them all. Gemma Hastings is the last unmarried Beauchamp heiress and she has no plans to change her marital status in fact quite the opposite, she cannot conceive of being able to pursue her studies in geology and paleontology as a wife. Each of the Beauchamp heiresses was given a mystery to solve with clues provided by their benefactress Celeste Beauchamp but Gemma despairs of being able to solve the mystery she was assigned because her letter was left unfinished. Lord Cameron Lisle is brother-in-law to Gemma’s sister Sophia and publisher of a scientific journal that declined to publish her research as well as a collector of fossils also has no interest in marriage. Gemma and Cameron find themselves working together to when they discover a dead body and a fossil Gemma was trying to unearth missing. Could the missing fossil be the answer to the quest set for Gemma? Adversaries to lovers is a favourite story line of mine and Manda Collins has written an excellent one.
