One of Thousands

One of Thousands is a story of one man's personal account of what he experienced at "Ground Zero" the afternoon of September 11, 2001. He wasn't a firefighter or police officer, he was simply a foreman for the Department of Public Works aka Department of Sanitation, who felt compelled to go and help any way he could. It's a story of an un-sung hero who sacrificed his life for his fellow man. It's a story of humanity and love for his country. No racism, no hatred, just every individual working together as one. One nation under God, indivisible with liberty and Justice for all. He risked his life and ultimately succumbed to the toxic fumes down at "Ground Zero, which has killed thousands of our 1st Responders, who were and are all heroes. Thus his title One of Thousands.
