A supernatural thriller about three lives crossing paths that blurs the line between now and the hereafter, myth and reality.  Set in historical Leadville and Denver, the novel spans the late 1800’s to the present.

The story is told in three voices, each a compelling narrative in the three intersecting lives, bridging a common bond across time and space.  A psychological drama unfolds, weaving naiveté and guile, sensuality and pathos.

The voice of the ghost Galena chronicles a young girl’s life and her murder.  High-spirited, full of grit and resolve, she came to Denver in the wake of the silver crash to pursue the good life.  Ravishing hearts, untutoring minds, she haunts, avenging her death, set to return to life.

Ashley, a contemporary professional facing life’s changes, speaks of loneliness and her need to be relevant.  Her consciousness becomes entwined with Galena’s in an imagined bond where she finds solace.

Ben, a construction worker with precognitive ability, bears witness to the strivings of the two women.  Beset by a sense of futility, he finds himself yet struggling to appease both the living and the dead.
