One Woman or Another

Detective Jake Targell suspects the reverand's ex-wife, who inherits one million dollars, or his wild spending colleague, Vivi Looper, who seems too dim-witted to survive. Then there's the hired hit-man (an accountant by trade) whose plan may have gone awry. Discovery of more paramours complicates the investigation.


Jake's friend, Rob Kane becomes involved after finding diamonds smuggled inside his souvenir doll. When the diamonds are stolen, Rob takes action with a trip to Monterrey and a dangerous run-in with Mexican thugs. All this damages Rob's attempt to win back an old flame.
