If someone had told Emily Hall she would leave the perfect So Cal weather to finish her senior year in Virginia, she wouldn't have believed it. But after tragedy stole the lives of her niece and nephew, she followed her sister across the country to ensure the safety of a 5-year-old Alyx.

When her sister Ally Feilds brings her the opportunity to find the Circle of Fifths members responsible for the death of her niece and nephew, Emily jumps for it. As she makes the trip home and starts chasing the Circle of Fifths, she realizes it's not just the lives of her surviving family members on the line; she will have to use every skill she learned growing up in a spy family to protect the vulnerable kids in the Promising Generation Training Program.
