Orange Moon

A teenage girl is kidnapped by terrorists and a bomb explodes in Colombo City Centre.  No one is safe in this gripping tale of corruption, lost love and a fight for survival.  

Leela is taken deep into the jungle of Sri Lanka.  She is not the first, and she knows she will die if she stays there.  

The Moon Rise Hotel is struggling to survive.  In a post-tsunami climate and with the civil war raging, there are few guests who are willing to venture to the East Coast.  

Marni, the hotel manager is overwhelmed with the responsibility of looking after the business, her employees and a failing marriage.  She is desperately looking for her missing father and, as if it couldn’t get any worse, now a young girl is missing.

A corrupt politician complicates Marni’s problems further and threatens the very existence of the Moon Rise Hotel.

The staff and guests attempt to navigate their way through a raging war and the internal battles that haunt them.
