Our Journey With Adoption

Dear reader,

Perhaps you read my first book The Foster Care Rollercoaster and are eager to learn more about my large family, or perhaps you stumbled across this book randomly and are now wondering about the wonderful journey that adopting a child (or several) can be. Either way, I'm glad you have made your way here.

This book contains the stories of how we grew our family through fostering and adoption. You see, I've always wanted a large family, but when my body decided I wouldn't be able to repopulate the world on my own, my husband and I decided to grow our family by other means.

Each child has a unique story of how they came to join our family. I'll share with you those stories as well as memorable moments, both happy and sad, that have stuck with me over the years. While some of the stories you are about to read may seem fictional, I promise that every tale of joy, laughter, and heartbreak is true.

So, find a comfortable seat, grab a box of tissues to have on hand (just in case), and dive in!
