Mardious and Amelia are partners in crime. They steal from the rich and give to the poor by using wizard potions, manipulating mythical creatures, and summoning power from magical artefacts.

Growing up in the Badlands, they've only known a life of poverty, corruption, and violence. Survival has been dependent on keeping a low profile and living in the shadows, but they want to make a change. They want to balance the scales.

They yearn for their community to thrive so that it isn't segregated from the rest of the realm, and is instead prosperous and well respected. Their stolen riches provide food for the hungry, shelter for the homeless, and hope for the uninspired.

Their quest for money, power, and equality is challenging, but they understand that chasing their dream comes at a price. What they don't know is how much it will actually cost.
