Over 7,000 Kilometers Away

Anna and Lucia are two girls of Italian origin, who after spending a quiet and happy childhood and youth in Borneo, as soon as they discover a love affair between their parents, disgusted they decide to leave and reach Italy. Here, finding themselves disoriented for the uses and customs completely different from theirs, they find a very closed society with consequent great difficulty in entering and making acquaintances. However, they manage to find a permanent job, which soon turns out to be a real torture. Each of them also finds a partner, but with the help of a marriage agency. Here begins the visits to some of the most important and famous monuments and places in Sicily, but also in Rome, Florence and Venice, where Anna spends her honeymoon. Lucia, on the other hand, who continued to work in Caltagirone, near Catania, finds an architect as her boyfriend, who promises her a rosy and prosperous future. When, for the two friends, everything finally seemed to be going well, something happens ... They decide to return to Borneo and bravely face their parents. They discover that it was all a misunderstanding, because they are really sisters and not just friends.
