Owned ~ Body and Soul
I actually waited a few days to write this. It left me speechless. The entire series is phenomenal but this last in series is the cherry on top. While the topic was absolutely riveting I had never considered a lifestyle where one owned possessions. Talon is private and comfortable being exactly who he is. He is an enigma. Ransom comes to Talon for a life altering favour that propels him and his sister into Talons world. Ransom who believed himself to be a sadist like Zeke comes to realize he wants something different as a Dominant ~ Jasper. On Sapphire Island there are no limits. When Ransom and Braelyn arrive for safe haven on Talon’s island he meets Jasper again and reclaims what they both lost years before. Braelyn captivates Talon. I could actually see them interacting as they jumped from the page with their intense bonding. She is much younger but Talon will not be denied “his dirty girl” and you will not be able to stop reading! The series started with a spark and this ended it like a bolt of lightening. If you think you know these characters you don’t. Nicole is phenomenal at character blending from story to story She weaves them altogether, keeps them true to themselves and who does not love revisiting memories. This series is no different. Sapphire Island will fast become your new dirty pleasure. I love that Nicole is not afraid to explore and take us with her! Braelyn becomes Talons everything and at the end all the characters are present as the sun sets on a mind blowing series. Start at the beginning, you will not be disappointed when you end up on Sapphire Island. Wow!!!
