Pacific Rebound

Peter White has just lost his wife and grade school sweetheart to cancer. As international division manager for his New York company he's used to traveling the world. Rose, the wife of an old acquaintance asks him to help find her husband who has gone missing in the Great Victoria Desert of Australia. 

These two start out on a voyage that takes them throughout Australasia, Japan, and way back into the Australian desert. They're not alone on this trip. Along for the ride are members of the Japanese Yakuza, with orders to find the lady's husband along with the well-guarded secret he's dug up in the Australian Outback.

Rose and Peter discover much more than they set out to find. They're helped along by the husband's clues that are mostly in the form of quotes from Shakespeare's King Lear.
