PAINLESS GOES WEST‪©‬

Fresh out of Dental College, Edgar(Painless) Parker decides that he would like to go out West after a very unsuccessful try at private practice in St. Martins, with no patients coming to him. This is his conversation attempting to persuade his friend to join him in his quest to go West:


 “Let’s go west, Jack,” I said to him. “I’d gladly go with you, Edgar,” replied Jack. “Let’s face it, it takes money. How will we get the money to travel west?” “We don’t need much,” I answered him. “Only enough to get to the first town. I have a great idea! “I have something to sell that people need very much, dental care. I can make my prices low enough so that they can afford it. You can be the one to promote our business. You can distribute handbills telling townspeople about my services. You also can be my assistant and help me to deliver dental service by doing my lab work. I can teach you all you need to know. My persuasive arguments convinced Jack into going.
