Palmyra

I used to think the past was dead and gone, that the passage of time erased memories …

When a charismatic stranger arrives at a remote cocoa estate in Trinidad, he sets off a chain of events that will end in tragedy. Eleven-year-old Joe, the housekeeper's observant son, bears witness as secrets, betrayals, and ambitions unfold—threads that will shape the family's future.

Decades later, long-buried truths resurface, revealing a world shaped by the legacies of slavery and indentureship, where shifting power, divided loyalties, and hidden desires collide.

Palmyra blends coming-of-age storytelling with Gothic mystery in a tale of memory, ambition, and the echoes of the past.
