At the heart of a Yorkshire valley stands Paris Bank, an unconventional old house filled with eccentric characters, old stories, strong opinions, unlikely friendships, and more than a few secrets.

Max has spent years living among its colourful residents, including the free spirited Tavish, enigmatic Connie, unpredictable Zelda, and the increasingly out of place Walter Harkin.
