Customer Reviews
Past Crimes or word crimes?
The book is entertaining enough with good character development and description but the constant flip flop between proper English words and American English is baffling and annoying. If an American author is writing about England, perhaps they should use an English dictionary or any from the various commonwealth countries that also use English spelling for the most part. I will never understand why Americans think that their unique spelling is worldwide and acceptable. It surely takes away from the feel of authenticity and atmosphere of jolly old England.
