Preparing for Christmas is never easy, especially if you are part of a large dysfunctional family who fights and argues all the time. Patrick, the second oldest sibling of 9 kids, is still trying to figure out if he is obsessed with Santa or if he is just his biggest fan. Is Patrick gullible or is he a smart aleck? Just who does Grandma Bertha and her big butt think they are? Why is Mom threatening to stop what she is doing at home and walk all the way back to the store without any shoes or coat on? Who did what to the Christmas tree and why? Depending on who you are, this day just keeps on getting better...or worse!


ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Patrick McErlean has thought about writing books since he was in his 20’s. He thought about it even more when he was in his 30’s. When he reached his 40’s, he seriously thought about it and decided now is the time to start writing. He never gives up! Born and raised in the Southwest suburbs of Chicago, he currently lives in Western Kentucky with his beautiful wife and two beautiful daughters. In his free time, Patrick loves to spend time with his family or watching his favorite Chicago sports teams, The White Sox, Bears, Blackhawks and Bulls!

Michael McErlean is an experienced graphic designer and now...a professional illustrator! He loves creating art and has done so since his younger days making masterpieces with crayons. Michael lives near Chicago, Illinois. He grew up in a very large family and wouldn’t have had it any other way.
